Limerick’s first Premier Division game at Thomond Park has been pencilled in by RTÉ to kick-off the broadcaster’s live coverage of the new Airtricity League season.

Stuart Taylor’s side take on Cork City in a match that has been put back to Sunday, March 10th, at 5.15pm to facilitate the coverage.

New manager Stuart Taylor is still assembling his side, with 22-year-old former Manchester United youth team winger Danny Galbraith signing a two-year deal yesterday.

The team’s TV appearance faces stiff opposition for viewers, though, clashing with Liverpool against Tottenham in the Premier League, the Six Nations game between England and Italy and, most likely, the NHL encounter between Tipperary and Kilkenny.
