MUNSTER MFC/Limerick 1-9 Clare 1-5:LIMERICK ADVANCED to the provincial semi-final yesterday at Cusack Park, Ennis, when they knocked Clare out of the competition. Although they didn't have it all their own way for the hour, Limerick amassed a half-time lead of 1-7 to 0-1.
The visitors' goal came on 30 minutes when Cormack Joyce-Power finished to the net.
Early in the second half Clare goalkeeper Jamie Joyce saved a penalty from Páraic McEnery but Clare were successful from the spot themselves through Cathal McInerney.
But in the end Limerick had enough in reserve and a Joyce-Power point at the death sealed it.
