Tipperary's All-Ireland hurling title prospects got a boost at the weekend when John Leahy resumed training. Leahy had to retire in the semi-final win over Wexford with a fractured jaw. However, he was given a medical all-clear at the weekend to rejoin his colleagues in training for the final against Clare. Tipperary have one injury problem at present. Substitute George Frend took a knock in the league semi-final against Galway and while he has not trained since, he is expected to be available for selection.
