An 85th minute strike by Canadian Tomasz Radzinski gave Anderlecht a well-earned 10 victory over Lazio in their Champions League second phase group D match last night.

Lazio looked to have done enough to gain the draw they appeared to have come for when the super-quick Radzinski was put through by Besnik Hasi to drill the ball across goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi into the far corner.

Anderlecht had the better of the play throughout but were almost left to rue their inability to bury a number of chances.

Lazio rarely threatened the Belgian side's goal, although Sinisa Mihajlovic rattled the Anderlecht bar with a free-kick from 35 yards after 29 minutes.
