There is a rumour in Clontarf that they are going to rename the Open Seniors Trophy. Harry Lambe - a member of Clontarf and also of Westmanstown - has scooped the top award in three of the last four years. Last week, the well-known GAA referee from Co Meath shot 41 points off a 12 handicap to win again. Harry went to the turn in one over par to amass 23 points and added another 18 on the way home for his winning total of 41. In this, the fourth year of the competition, Harry, a retired garda, had won in the inaugural year 1997 and again in 1999 and 2000.
