Killester yesterday became one of only two teams to pull off a successful weekend double in what was another busy afternoon in the ESB League. The Dubliners were always too strong for the visiting Tralee team and their 108-88 victory was well deserved.

Eric Jackson notched 24 points to add to the 25 he scored in Saturday's equally convincing win over Dungannon.

Fellow challengers the Saints completed the other double by defeating Tolka Rovers 99-87 in an exciting Dublin derby with Pierre Shuptlesworth contributing a massive 33 points.

Tolka didn't make it easy for them, but the Saints had been on a roll since their 9671 victory over Killarney on Saturday.
