The latest attempt to get this match played is in doubt due to the condition of the pitch - an ongoing problem since the recent under-21 match against Estonia - but after an inspection yesterday the current assumption is that the match will finally go ahead.
If it does then Kilkenny manager Joe McGrath hopes to give debuts to his three latest signings, Simon McAreavy, Carlos Rocha and Gavin Wilkinson.
