Leicester captain Martin Johnson grabbed the first two-try haul of his career to push his team into a clear lead at the top of the English Premiership with a 23-11 win over Richmond.

Fly-half Joel Stransky took over the goal-kicking duties from the erratic Tim Stimpson to ease Leicester further clear in the chase for vital championship points. Leicester's Canadian winger Dave Lougheed scored the opening try of the night for the visitors.
