The final competitions of the Leinster Branch season was won by The Island last weekend when their under-15 team beat Hazel Grove 4-1 in the inter-club final at Hollystown. Brendan Walton gave the Island the ideal start when he beat Sean Kearns 5 and 4 in the top match and The Island secured the other two points from Conor Ryan, who beat Kevin Leavy 7 and 5, and Ronan O'Connor, a 3 and 2 winner over Craig Scanlon. Stephen Gallagher halved his match with Daniel O'Hagan as did David Rawluk with Brian Charters.
