Westmeath v Dublin

Tullamore, 2.0pm

A high-stakes game for both teams as they look to maintain their place in the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Dublin are also looking to reverse their defeat at a waterlogged O'Moore Park back in May.

Westmeath show four changes from the side which lost to Galway last week with Enda Loughlin, Pat Clarke, Donal Devine and Daniel Carty replacing the injured Brian Connaughton and Darren McCormack and out-of-favour John Paul Murray and Derek McNicholas.

Alan Crabbe and Dave Sweeney come into the Dublin side for Stuart Mullen and Peader Carton. The championship has a tendency to create revenge matches and Dublin are poised to take advantage of it.

WESTMEATH: M Briody; C Jordan, C Murtagh, P Greville; G Gavin, J Shaw, N Gavin; E Loughlin, A Mitchell; B Smyth, B Murtagh, P Clarke; D Devine, D Carty, J Clarke.

DUBLIN: G Maguire; G O'Meara, K Ryan, P Brennan; M Carton, R Fallon, T Brady; D Sweeney, S McDonnell; J McCaffrey, L Ryan, D Curtin; J Kelly, K Flynn, A McCrabbe.
