Leinster Club football championship: Starlights 2-5 Rathvilily 0-7 Starlights were a mightily relieved side after full-forward John Hudson helped them stage a smash-and-grab victory with two goals from penalties in the closing minutes of this replay to deny Rathvilly at Enniscorthy on Saturday.
Starlights, trailing by 0-7 to 0-5, with two minutes remaining, took the lead for the first time in the 58th minute when Hudson crashed home a penalty after younger brother Willie had been hauled down.
Then , three minutes into injury-time, Hudson shook the net from his second penalty, after brother Willie was again fouled, this time by goalkeeper Anthony Doyle who received a yellow card for his troubles.
