THE Hibernian Golf Club - who are in situ at Citywest - is to award one of their Hibernian trophies to Ray McDonnell, who became the first member of the club (affiliated to the GUI at last February's AGM) to record a hole in one. McDonnell achieved the feat last week when his eight iron tee shot to the 11th hole on the Christy O'Connor Jnr designed course hit the front of the green, obligingly ran towards the hole and dropped in for an ace.
