Hermitage, Enniscorthy, Skerries and Beech Park have won their way through to the semi-finals of the FBD Barton Cup

Hermitage, Enniscorthy, Skerries and Beech Park have won their way through to the semi-finals of the FBD Barton Cup. Hermitage last won the cup 30 years ago overcame Howth in the quarterfinals. Current panellist Shay Fleming, the former Dublin hurler, is a son of one of the last winning team members, the late Jim Fleming. Current international Stephen Browne leads this year's team that is managed by a Clare-Cork combination of Dennis McNamara and Tom O'Kelly. Enniscorthy will be hoping to go one better than the semi-final of 1996 after their win over Wexford. They have three matches at home to Beech Park. Skerries last won the cup in 1965 and current captain Stafford Stack is leading the way, having won all his matches so far in the competition.
