Seamus Heffernan took the honours on day two of the annual Festival when partnering a spectacular 535 to 1 treble aboard Like A Dream, Springfield Guest and Gossie Madera.

Like A Dream was friendless in the market at 16 to 1 for the Tattersalls Maiden but belied those odds by recording an emphatic victory. The Alzao filly skipped clear a quarter of a mile out to beat So Much More by eight lengths.

Heffernan, second in the Irish Derby on Glyndebourne, followed up on Springfield Guest in division two of the Ireland's Own Short Story Annual Handicap. Heffernan made it 11 winners for the season when Gossie Madera led a furlong out in the ONC Recruitment Handicap to beat Queen Sarabi by a length.
