Harchibald will be hard to beat today

12.25: Firth Of Forth looks worth another chance

12.25: Firth Of Forth looks worth another chance. He ran up against good horses in Merdeka and Alexander Taipan on both his starts over hurdles and his bumper form was good. If there is a danger it could be Sea Diva, who always runs a respectable race and will like the two and a half miles.

Selection: Firth Of Forth.

12.55: Heez A Wonder looks a handicap good thing. To me he is thrown into a race like this on what we saw him do behind Good On You Polly at Fairyhouse. Francis Flood's horse is the bet of the entire meeting.

Selection: Heez A Wonder.

1.25: Johnny Murtagh has been riding really well over hurdles this winter and Maxxium looks like he could be another winner for him. I thought Michael Halford's horse was impressive at Navan and the second has won since. Arc En Ciel rates a danger.

Selection: Maxxium.

1.55: Kadiskar has been a little disappointing but he's worth another go. There should be more to come from his second to On The Net last time. Noel Meade's horse Deep Return looks a danger and so does Our Ben.

The latter's problem will be the long absence he has had but he is the class horse of the race.

Selection: Kadiskar.

2.25: Harchibald will be hard to beat. The inside track here really favours the speed horses and that is what Harchibald is. He is a very good horse - he just needs things to go right. Leopardstown will suit him a lot better than Punchestown, and with no pace around, poor old Brave Inca will probably have to be handy.

Selection: Harchibald.

2.55: Berkeley House is my sole runner of the day and basically we are running her in this trying to sneak a bit of black type. If she gets into a place I'll be delighted. Miss Wallensky is very consistent but from what I can see Brogella looks a bit of a good thing. Her overall form is good enough for this and having Ruby Walsh on board is always a help.

Selection: Brogella.

3.25: A tricky bumper with Sizing America, who won at Fairyhouse, and a number of other smart performers who have shown form. Dermot Weld's horse Admiral's Call is having his first start but the word is he's a smart one. It will be interesting to see how the bookies price him up.

Selection: Admiral's Call.
