Gheorghe Hagi will return to Champions League action for Galatasaray at Ibrox on October 17th after UEFA reduced his five-match suspension to two matches.

The Romanian international was sent off during the second half of the Group D game with Monaco for violent conduct but UEFA's Appeals Body have reduced the punishment after hearing that the offence should now be recorded as unsporting behaviour.

Hagi will now have served out his suspension by the time Rangers face the Turks in Istanbul next Wednesday.
