Séamus Power moved into the top 10 at the FedEx St Jude Classic on Friday after a five-under 65 fired him up the leaderboard in Memphis.

The 30-year-old from Waterford carded six birdies and a bogey in his second round at TPC Southwind to move to six under and a five-way share of sixth position.

Former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, American Chez Reavie and Colombian Sebastian share the lead on nine under.

Graeme McDowell put together an extraordinary second round that included just four pars as he moved to two under at the FedEx St Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Portrush golfer also carded eight birdies, five bogeys and a double-bogey in his one-under 69 to lie seven shots off the lead.

Rickie Fowler, the only member of the world top 10 playing on the PGA Tour this week, missed the cut.

The 28-year-old, who shot 74 on the opening day, could only go round in even par meaning his four-over score was not enough to keep him around for the weekend.
