All that glitters is not gold, or so they say. But for one of Kilcoole's members, everything was gold over the past 12 months. Vivienne Gold proved a real hit on the greens around the Co Wicklow course as she collected the honour for the most birdies during the year. And not satisfied with just that honour, she also added the LGU Pendant to her collection.

However, despite her top notch performances on the greens, it wasn't enough to claim the golfer of the year crown as that went to Anne Cooney. Other winners at Kilcolle during the season were Eleanor Nelson (bronze medal), Nuala Finan (silver spoon) and Thelma Byrne, who was the singles matchplay winner.
