Galway...3-16 Kilkenny...2-6: Galway had the honour of taking Corn Tailteann after their minor A All-Ireland victory over Kilkenny in the final at Páirc Tailteann, Navan, on Saturday.
Galway showed their intent with two goals in the opening six minutes from Noreen Coen and Martina Conroy.
Kilkenny rallied well and Colette Dormer pointed before Lucinda Gahan scored a goal. They were, however, behind by 1-5 to Galway's 2-4 at the break.
Sarah Noone scored Galway's third goal but still Kilkenny kept up their challenge. They scored a goal through Dormer but could manage only one further point while Galway added six points to their overall tally.
Meanwhile, Antrim defeated Roscommon in the minor B final by 1-9 to 0-3.
