Darragh Lyons scored three goals in the opening half as Dungarvan Colleges booked their place in the All-Ireland Colleges Senior Hurling A final on April 6th with a 5-8 to 1-10 victory over St Kieran’s College, Kilkenny, at WIT sports campus in Carriganore.
The Croke Cup decider, fixed for Thurles, will be a repeat of last year’s quarter-final clash with Kilkenny CBS, in which Dungarvan were beaten.
In bitterly cold conditions, Dungarvan Colleges were full value for their 10-point victory against a disappointing St Kieran's outfit.
