Two changes for Tyrone as McAliskey replaces Penrose

Martin Penrose has been replaced by Conor McAliskey in the Tyrone line-up ahead of the All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Mayo in Croke Park on Sunday.

McAliskey is named at corner forward in place of Penrose - who is serving a one-match ban for the red card he received after striking Dessie Mone in the quarter-final - in one of two changes to Mickey Harte’s starting line-up.

The other change is tactical and sees Ryan McKenna replace Dermot Carlin, who drops to the bench, in defence.

Both Joe McMahon and Stephen O’Neill have shaken off injuries to take their places in the side.

Earlier, Mayo named an unchanged side from that demolished defending champions Donegal 4-17 to 1-10 in their quarter-final.

Cillian O'Connor's hat-trick lit up Mayo's challenge that day and the Ballintubber player takes his place alongside Alan Freeman and skipper Andy Moran in the full-forward line for Sunday's game.

James Horan’s midfield combination of brothers Aidan and Seamus O’Shea will face off with Tyrone’s own sibling duo of Seán and Colm Cavanagh.
