Tom Parsons returns for injury-stricken Mayo against Galway

Stephen Rochford has named his fifteen for Saturday evening’s fixture in Castlebar

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has made just one change from the team that defeated London for Saturday's Connacht SFC semi-final against Galway.

Fit again Tom Parsons replaces All-Ireland Under-21 winning captain Stephen Coen at midfield. He lines out beside Jason Gibbons, selected ahead of Barry Moran who has been struggling with an Achilles tendon injury coming into the game. There's also no place in the XV for regulars Ger Cafferkey, Seamus O'Shea and Diarmuid O'Connor - with all three missing out against London due to injury, and seemingly failing to recover in time for this weekend's clash.

Conor Loftus - who scored 1-2 after replacing the black carded Cillian O’Connor in Ruislip - also misses out on the starting fifteen having struggled with injury in the build up. Likewise Donal Vaughan and Chris Barrett look to have missed out due to injury.

However it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if any of the above were called in as late replacements ahead of the action on Saturday evening.
