In transition after a notable couple of years, Wexford have had to replace central players Redmond Barry, last year’s captain, and David Murphy. The league was a disappointment, being stalked by the prospect of Division Four until the last match. In their favour, they are higher-ranked than their quarter-final opponents but that road takes them to a likely Dublin semi-final.


Last good day: Comfortably defeated Carlow in 2011 to notch a Leinster final appearance – only the second since 1956.
