Cork football manager Brian Cuthbert has made some notable changes to his team for Saturday's fourth-round qualifier against Kildare in Thurles – in part because of the disappointing Munster final replay against Kerry last Saturday.

Eoin Cadogan returns from a hamstring injury, although instead of his usual full-back berth, is named at midfield. Colm O'Driscoll is also given a starting place in the forwards, which means there is no place for Brian Hurley, who was disappointing against Kerry the last day.

Neither Tom Clancy (Clonakilty) nor Patrick Kelly (Ballincollig) were considered for selection due to injury. Kelly did start at midfield against Kerry but only lasted the hour, and he is the other player to miss out.

Cork hurling manager Jimmy Barry Murphy has opted for the minimum of changes for Sunday's All-Ireland quarter-final against Galway at Semple Stadium.

Shane O'Neill comes back into the defence, having recovered from an ankle injury, and in the re-jigged forward line, Alan Cadogan is the player to miss out. Damien Cahalane is named at wing back, which means Aidan Walsh moves up to midfield, where he will partner Daniel Kearney.
