Forde fit, Hoolahan starts

Giovanni Trapattoni confirms his team for the World Cup qualifier tomorrow night

David Forde has overcome a calf strain and is named in the Republic of Ireland team to take on the Faroe Islands at the Aviva stadium tomorrow night (7.45).

Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has included the 24 year old goalkeeper in a side that also contains, Norwich City's Wes Hoolahan. Sean St Ledger will partner John O'Shea in the heart of the defence while Simon Cox will play alongside Glen Whelan, Aiden McGeady and Hoolahan in midfield.

Ireland's record goalscorer Robbie Keane will operate in tandem with Jonathan Walters up front.
