WOLVERHAMPTON will stage an extra meeting on Saturday as the deep freeze continues to wreck the racing programme.
The British Horseracing Board has put emergency arrangements into action to stage an all-weather Flat fixture. The six-race programme begins at 1.10 and entries will close at noon tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Exeter became the first meeting of 1997 to be called off when it's New Year's Day fixture was abandoned yesterday due to frost.
