FRANK NOBILO of New Zealand captured his first US PGA Tour victory yesterday parring the first hole of a sudden death playoff to beat Brad Faxon at the Greater Greensboro Classic.

Nobilo roared into contention from five strokes back with a five under par 67 that included four straight birdies on the back nine.
