Leinster Vocational Schools SFC A Final: Ferbane Schools 3-10 Tullamore College 0-9 Brilliant forward play by Ferbane Schools made this a one-sided final at O'Connor Park, Tullamore, yesterday.

Ferbane stunned Tullamore with a succession of early scores and by half-time led 1-8 to 0-2.

Adding to early points from Trevor Guinan and Shane Flannery, top-scorer Paul Deeley struck for a 13th minute goal.

With neat passing and excellent support play, Ferbane never allowed Tullamore to regroup, and early in the second half they wrapped up their first victory in this competition with goals from Deeley and Trevor Phelan.
