Exiles perform well

It was a good weekend for most of the Irish players in England

It was a good weekend for most of the Irish players in England. On Saturday Geordan Murphy proved that the harrowing times of recent weeks have been banished mentally with an excellent performance for Leicester in their cup win over Saracens. The news was less good for Darragh O'Mahony, the Saracens left wing, as his side were comprehensively outplayed. Leicester will now face Harlequins in the semi-final after the latter beat Northampton. Niall Woods overcame the disappointment of fluffing an easy penalty to kick a brace in the 11-6 victory. Former under-21 international Ryan O'Neill played on the right wing for 'Quins.
