Bob Estes shot a sparking final round 63 - his 17th consecutive sub 70 round- to take victory by a single shot in the marathon five-round Invensys Classic in Las Vegas.

His 329 total shut out fellow American Tom Lehman and Rory Sabatani of South Africa, who finished tied on 330 after hitting 66 and 64 respectively.

The best round of the day, however, came from Davis Love 111, who moved well up the leaderboard to finish on 332 after shooting a 61.

Overnight leader Steve Carron, who had led by three shots, fell away to a final round 71, which left him 3 shots behind the winner.

John Daly continued his run of good form with a final round 67 to finish on 337.
