Germany's all-conquering equestrian squad swept to further glory in Horsley Park yesterday, claiming team gold in the show jumping by the slimmest of margins from Switzerland, with France losing out to Brazil in a jump-off for the bronze. The win gave Germany an eighth team gold in the show jumping discipline since the beginning of the modern Olympic movement in 1912 and was the second team title for the Germans in 24 hours after the dressage victory in Wednesday's Grand Prix decider.
