SCHOOL'S RUGBY: De La Salle, Churchtown, face a Leinster Schools' Senior Cup Section A second-round meeting against Gorey Community College after a 33-14 victory in Naas yesterday, with all their points coming in the first half.
There were tries from Eamon Higgins, Ray Lee, Seán Doyle, Brian Devitt and Ciarán O'Brien, and four conversions by Noel Barnes to leave Enniscorthy trailing 33-0 at the break. But the Wexford side were brave in defeat, carving out converted tries for Peter Brown and Patrick O'Reilly.
