Cycling:Italy's Matteo Bono won the sixth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico race yesterday afternoon and German Andreas Kloeden took the overall lead.

Bono (23) was part of an attack that formed midway through the stage and the Lampre rider then jumped clear on the climb to the finish.

Fellow Italians Enrico Gasparotto and Giovanni Visconti finished second and third.

The week-long Tirreno-Adriatico race ends today with a 177-km seventh stage from Civitella del Tronto to San Benedetto del Tronto.
