EDMONDSTOWN have taken a novel approach towards maintaining the quality of their course - by offering vouchers to players who observe basic course etiquette!

Donal Casey, chairman of the course committee, has instigated a reward scheme for those observed repairing pitch marks on the greens, raking bunkers; replacing divots etc., during competitions.

"We'll have a few course spies out and about over the next few months," he said. The club intends to award four £25 vouchers in the autumn.
