Under-21 Football Munster Semi-final/Cork 2-17 Waterford 0-1:Goals from Colm O'Neill and top scorer Daniel Goulding in the 19th and 51st minutes respectively eased champions Cork into the final of this year's Munster championship at Dungarvan on Saturday.

O'Neill's goal helped Cork to lead by 1-9 to no score at half-time, despite having played against a strong wind.

The game was over as a contest at this stage and Cork then kicked five points without reply in as many minutes in the third quarter.

Waterford's only score of the game came in the 49th minute when team captain Patrick Hurney converted a free.

The second Munster semi-final, between Clare - who have already beaten Kerry - and Tipperary, will take place in Kilmallock next Saturday.
