SIGERSON CUP:Dundalk IT 0-10 Belfast MC 0-7  THERE WAS a controversial end to yesterday's clash in Belfast. With Dundalk up by three points late in the game, David McGreevy of Belfast Met appeared to be fouled in the square. Referee Ciarán Brannigan, however, ruled McGreevy had overcarried the ball and awarded a free out.

Shane Hughes was then sent off for arguing with the referee, with McGreevy soon joining him.

Dundalk IT had led 0-6 to 0-3 at the break. However, while Belfast Met had the better of the second half, they couldn’t make their dominance count on the scoreboard.
