Dream run for Duffy

Gavin Duffy is enjoying a phenomenal few months

Gavin Duffy is enjoying a phenomenal few months. The former Cistercian Roscrea centre, having led the Ireland Schools' team on an unbeaten tour of Australia, including a win in the test match, returned to line out at outhalf for Ireland under-21 against Nike New Zealand Youths, helping the home side to victory with a spectacular try and a very assured display at outhalf. He then was called into the Ireland Sevens' team for the Dubai tournament and maintained his try scoring feats there.

Last week Duffy played on the left wing for Galwegians in their victory over Dungannon, scoring a try. He was named in the first Irish Times/AIB team of the week for this season. During this time he has played centre, outhalf and wing and represents a huge prospect.
