Downtown is the daughter of the champion sire Danehill and the triple-classic winner User Friendly and should be a major player in the mile and a quarter maiden at Clonmel after a good run when second to Fancy Dance at Cork on her last start.

First Symphony and Scrumptious rate among the most likely opposition but David Wachman's string are in fine form and there should be improvement to come from Downtown who may be an even more valuable stud proposition after today.

Tommy Stack's Family Focus went down by only a neck to Gentleman Jeff over a mile and a half at Killarney on her last start but should have no problem dropping back for this evening's mile and a quarter handicap.

Ruby Walsh can secure a jumping double courtesy of the Downpatrick runner-up Ashlawn in the handicap hurdle and Prince Massini in the maiden hurdle.
