Donegal 0-11 Fermanagh 1-5: DONEGAL ARE on their way to the semi-final of the Dr McKenna Cup after a comfortable win at Ballyshannon yesterday.
They held a three point half-time advantage - 0-6 to 0-3 - after playing with the strong wind in the first half while also hitting seven bad wides.
Donegal got the perfect start to the second half with Brian Roper and Kevin McMenamin each scoring points. They were rocked by a Fermanagh goal from Séamus Ryder inside five minutes but recovered well and never looked like losing.
Donegal are now two points clear at the top of their section thanks to Jordanstown's victory over Derry and the Tír Conaill men will travel to Ballinascreen on Sunday next while the students play Fermanagh.
