A late Briege Corkery point for Cork ensured a replay must take place midweek to decide who faces Wexford in the National League final following yesterday's Munster senior final (which doubled as a National League play-off) at Toomevara.

Cork led 1-7 to 1-2 at the break, but Tipperary were much better in the second half and forced extra-time. Tipp then took a two-point lead before Orla Cotter and Corkery squared the tie.

And it wasn't just the Waterford hurlers who were celebrating yesterday as their camogie counterparts put in an excellent display to win the Division Two league final - beating Down at Portlaoise on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13.

It was a great day for the Prendergast family, with Lisa a member of the panel, while her brothers Séamus and Declan had similar luck in Thurles.

Westmeath were crowned Division Three champions thanks to a 3-7 to 2-8 win over Meath at Portlaoise.

SCORERS: Cork - J O'Leary 0-7, four frees; U O'Donoghue 1-1; A Geary 0-3; B Corkery, O Cotter, E Burke 0-1 each; Tipperary - C Grogan 0-8 six frees, one 65; J Ryan 0-3; J Horan 1-0; E McDonnell, N Kennedy, C Hennessy 0-1 each.
