Women's Football National League:Cork stretched their winning streak to 30 games yesterday with a 3-7 to 0-8 victory over Kildare in Clonoulty to finish on top of Division One B of the National Football League.

Goals from Valerie Mulcahy and Laura McMahon inside seven minutes gave Cork the perfect start and they held a comfortable nine-point lead at half-time.

An outstanding individual goal from McMahon midway through the second half effectively ended the game as a contest.

Cork will be joined in the quarter-finals by Galway, Laois, Meath, Armagh, Kerry, Mayo and Monaghan, with the pick of the quarter-finals undoubtedly being the repeat of last year's AllIreland final between Cork and Armagh.

Meanwhile, Waterford and Donegal have been relegated to Division Two. Waterford lost by 0-7 to 0-12 to Laois in Stradbally while Donegal were beaten 0-4 to 3-6 by Monaghan in Convoy.
