Leopardstown preview: Dermot Weld's week is building up to Grey Swallow's tilt at Sunday's Derby but the trainer can receive a confidence boost ahead of that in the first couple of races at Leopardstown tonight.

He runs Absolutely Cool in the mile maiden and her debut fourth to Aleida at Gowran gives her the shout against the likes of Marie Vision who is rated a 79.

Only three line up for the following mile and a quarter race but it looks possibly even more trappy with Weld supplying Out Of Thanks, who won her second career start at Navan earlier this month.

The quandary lies with her only two-year-old start when she only managed a Tipperary fourth to Haratila who opens her 2004 campaign in tonight's race. The "outsider of three" theorists look to have their work cut out with Spring Opera but race fitness may see Out Of Thanks swing it.

One of last season's better novice hurdler's, Accordion Etoile, is preferred in the amateur race to Rockstown Boy who endured a nightmare passage when only sixth to the subsequent Ulster Derby heroine Green Lassy here at the start of the month.

Inishmot Lady is 11lb higher for waltzing home here previously but, despite that, Tom McCourt's runner can reverse Gowran form with Kestral Heights here.
