Yet again the weather has interfered with this week's colleges fixtures, and the only game that seems certain to go ahead this Sunday is the second Munster SF A semi-final. Coláiste Chríost Rí are set to met St Fachtna's at Inchigeela (2.30).

The winners there will face Coláiste ne Sceilige in next month's Corn Uí Mhuirí final. They defeated Kerry rivals Intermediate School, Killorglin, on Sunday, thanks to a late, late goal from - believe it or not - goalkeeper Bryan Sheehan. He took the 30-yard free that denied Killorglin a second chance.

The two Connacht football semi-finals are due to be played on Saturday, although the venues have yet to be decided. St Jarlarth's are through to meet St Nathy's following their massive win over St Patrick's, while the other semi-final has St Colman's taking on St Mary's.

Leinster's semi-finals await news of the venues. Dundalk Schools are to meet St Peter's, Wexford, although the second semi-final featuring holders St Patrick's, Navan, and St Mel's, Longford, is likely to be postponed.
