Clare County Board chair Michael McDonagh has said that the hearings committee meeting to consider the suspensions and fine levied after last weekend's fracas in Thurles before the championship meeting with Cork may not take place for "a couple of weeks", writes Seán Moran.

"I'd say it will be within the next three weeks," he said. "There's no rush on it as far as we're concerned." He also confirmed they have applied for a hearing on all counts in respect of the findings of the CCC.

Meanwhile, Cork's Fintan Goold has been named Cadbury Hero of the Future 2007 - the under-21 football equivalent of Player of the Year.
