MICHAEL CARRUTH, Ireland's Olympic gold medallist in Barcelona will appear on the same bill as his fellow Dubliner, Steve Collins, in London on February 8th. Carruth's opponent will be named later. Belfastman Mark Winters will also feature on the bill.

The show's promoter, Frank Warren, also confirmed yesterday that the South African, Giovanni Pretonous, will challenge the WBC super middleweight champion, Robin Reid.

Collins will defend his WBO super middleweight title against Frederic Seillier, while "Prince" Naseem Hamad takes on the IBF featherweight champion Tom "Boom Boom" Johnson. Mickey Cantwell challenges "Baby Jake" Matlala for the WBO world flyweight title.
