Carlow's expansion plans

Carlow golf club are moving with the times

Carlow golf club are moving with the times. At a special general meeting last week the members voted overwhelmingly to go ahead with the Jeff Howes design to extend the course to 27 holes.

Howes, who worked with Jack Nicklaus on the Mount Juliet project and is also involved with the redesign of the Fota Island club, Gowran Park and many other clubs throughout the country, will plan, design and construct the additional nine holes. Howes will be emulating the style of the existing excellent holes so that, in future years, all 27 holes will be harmonious.
