Dublin Colleges ... 1-10 Cistercian, Roscrea ... 1-6COLLEGES SH: Dublin Colleges, the defending Leinster Colleges SHC A champions, came with a storming finish to take this exciting provincial quarter-final replay at Dr Cullen Park, Carlow, yesterday.
The Dublin side had the first use of the strong wind and assembled a 0-7 to 0-2 interval lead.
That lead looked totally inadequate as Cistercians' star forward Conor Phelan crashed home a goal four minutes after the restart.
With the benefit of the wind, the Roscrea side were soon on level terms.
The teams then traded points before an outstanding individual goal from David O'Callaghan put Dublin Colleges back in front and substitute Des Leonard added a splendid point from play to ensure a semi-final spot for the holders.
