HARTY CUP QUARTER-FINALS: Our Lady's, Templemore1-17, Midleton CBS 3-11:DILLON CAHILL rescued Midleton CBS with an equalising goal in the third minute of injury -time in yesterday's dramatic Harty Cup quarter-final against Templemore CBS in Cahir.
The sides will meet again at the same venue next Wednesday following Cahill’s last-gasp intervention which denied a Templemore side inspired by the McGrath cousins Liam and John.
Controversy surrounded Cahill’s goal as referee Damien Fox ignored his linesman on the far touchline, who was signalling for a sideline ball, in the build-up. Midleton captain Conor Lehane, who scored 2-9, cut in a superb sideline ball for Cahill’s goal.
