Maybe someday Paul Caffrey will surprise us all and shake things up, but once again there is no change in the Dublin team for Sunday's Leinster football semi-final against Offaly.

Mark Vaughan keeps his place in the forward line having been called in for the injured Darren Magee before last Sunday's win over Meath - and after hitting 0-8 his place was safe.

Having started at corner forward last Sunday, Vaughan was last night named at centre forward, although it remains to be seen exactly where he'll play.

Magee once again misses out because of the wrist injury sustained at training last week, although he did come on for the last 10 minutes again Meath. The injury will require an operation at some point, although for now the big midfielder is determined to keep himself in contention for a supporting role.

Diarmuid Connolly and Tomás Quinn also keep their place in the forward line despite some uneasy moments the last day - both being substituted - while Jason Sherlock, who is also troubled with a wrist injury that limited his role on Sunday, once again starts on the bench.

Shane Ryan will again partner Ciarán Whelan at midfield, with defenders David Henry and Bryan Cullen both recovered from their leg muscle strains.

Offaly have named an unchanged team from the side that started the Leinster quarter-final against Carlow, despite several players carrying injuries.

Right corner back Ger Rafferty is the big worry after suffering a knee injury at training over the weekend and left corner back James Keane was already a doubt with an ankle injury sustained in the quarter-final win.

Pat Roe is also unsure of the fitness of half back Paul McConway and corner forward Thomas Deehan, who are both carrying leg injuries.

Galway have forward Seán Armstrong back for their Connacht football semi-final against Leitrim at Carrick-on-Shannon, although there is still some doubt over the fitness of Matthew Clancy.

Armstrong missed the first round victory over Mayo with a hamstring injury, but has since fully recovered.

Leitrim manager Dessie Dolan is waiting a final fitness test on full back John McKeon before finalising his line-up. McKeon went over on his ankle last week and hasn't trained properly since.

Derry's main injury concern ahead of their Ulster semi-final against Monaghan at Casement Park is over defender Paul Cartin, who sustained a knee injury in the quarter-final win over Antrim - Patsy Bradley is his likely replacement if he fails to make it. Captain Kevin McGuckin is again ruled out with a broken ankle.

In hurling, Dublin renew their rivalry with Wexford in this evening's Leinster under-21 semi-final at Parnell Park and are hoping centre forward and captain John McCaffrey will have recovered from a groin injury

Meanwhile, RTÉ are still considering their options regarding the broadcast of Sunday's Munster hurling semi-final second replay between Limerick and Tipperary. The usual live RTÉ 2 slot is taken up by the Connacht football semi-final involving Leitrim against Galway (2pm) followed by the Leinster semi-final involving Dublin against Offaly (4pm).

Figures from last weekend showed the Munster hurling semi-final between Cork and Waterford attracting the biggest audience of Sunday afternoon, drawing an estimated 342,000, while the football attracted 285,000.

However, the Saturday evening game involving the first replay between Tipperary and Limerick claimed the biggest audience of the weekend, an average of 360,000, which peaked at 564,000 viewers.
