RUGBY: Bridgetown VS ... 25 Firhouse CC ... 5: The only game in yesterday's Leinster Schools' Senior Development Cup saw Bridgetown claim victory in Kilkenny with the two divisions combining well.

Bridgetown led 10-0 at the interval, their centre John Patrick O'Brien, creating the opening for his side's opening score through scrumhalf John Flynn.

O'Brien's midfield partner, Paddy Doyle, then brought Bridgetown into double figures at half-time on what was a very agreeable surface.

Flynn then went over for his second touchdown but Firhouse's efforts were rewarded with a well-deserved try when their scrumhalf Brian Massey went over to score.
